📅 Weekly Ice Bocce Sessions | 🎯 Court Rentals & Open Play Available | 🎟 Advanced Reservations Encouraged
Experience the perfect blend of curling and bocce ball on the ice at The Ribbon. Bocce on Ice is a fun, winter-ready activity for all skill levels, and a great option for those who don’t ice skate.
Instead of rolling bocce balls, players slide curling-style Dysks toward a puck target (called the Jack). Teams take turns aiming for the puck, scoring points based on how close they get. The first team to 12 points wins!
$80 | 1.5 Hour Bocce On Ice Court Reservation
Players | Up to 8 players per court at a time; spectators can watch from off-ice or inside Market Hall at The Garden restaurant & bar area.
Children | Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on Bocce on Ice courts.

The game is played between two teams of 1-4 players per side. Our rink team will guide your group through the gameplay and scoring.
2 Players | 1 vs. 1 | 4 Dysks each, players walk end to end
4 Players | 2 vs. 2 | 4 Dysks each with one player per team at each end
6 Players | 3 vs. 3 | 2 Dysks each for 2 players at one end, and 4 Dysks for 1 player at the other end
8 Players | 4 vs. 4 | 2 Dysks each with 2 players at each end
The goal: Slide your Dysks (curling-style disks) as close to the Jack (hockey puck) as possible.
1.Flip the Jack – Like a coin toss. The winner throws first.
2.Throw the Jack – Slide the Jack to the far end. This becomes the target.
3.Throw the Dysks – Underhand, sliding on ice; they can bounce off of the sideboards and off of each other
4.Get Close – The Dysk closest to the Jack is called “IN”. All other Dysks are called “OUT”
5.Alternate Throws – Once a team gets “IN”, the other team continues throwing until they get closer or run out of Dysks.
6.Play All Dysks – Each team throws all 4 Dysks each round. Players can throw in any order.
After all 8 Dysks have been thrown, points are awarded for the round.
The team with the closest Dysk earns 1 point for each Dysk that is closer than the opponent’s closest Dysk (up to 4 points awarded per round)
First team to 12 points wins the game!
