2019 Summer Camping Series

Search for Sasquatch and Overnight Camping

Sasquatch is out and on the run. Help Metroparks track him down then set-up your tent and join us for a movie before you spend the night under the stars. We will also have our archery range open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to try shooting an arrow for the first time. All archery equipment provided. 

Movie and Popcorn under the night sky. Join us for a free movie under the stars. Our feature movie will be ‘Harry and the Hendersons’. Bring a blanket/chairs and enjoy an outdoor movie experience. Popcorn will be available for a small fee, provided by Volunteers In Parks. 

This campout is dog-friendly for friendly dogs. 

Campsite only [Regsiter]
Campsites will be ready and available starting at 6 p.m. Saturday evening and all tents need to be removed by 11 a.m. Sunday morning. Each campsite can accommodate six people per site. Each campsite is 15 x 15ft. Fee: $25 per site (bring your own equipment i.e. tent, sleeping bag etc.). 

Premium Campsites: No tent? No problem! Let us do all the hard work for you! 

Platform Sites [Register]
Includes: set-up, one traditional 2-person backpacking tent on an elevated shooting platform, two sleep pads and two sleeping bags. Fee: $100 per campsite

Tree Tent Site [Register]
Includes: Set-up, tree-tent, four sleep pads and four sleeping bags. Fee: $100 per campsite

Private Site [Register]
Includes: set-up, one traditional 4-person tent set-up near the static range, four sleep pads and four sleeping bags. Fee: $100 per campsite

Restrooms are in close proximity.

All campsites will be assigned on a first come first basis. They will be ready and available starting at 6 p.m. Saturday night. All tents need to be removed by 11 a.m. Sunday morning.

Movie and Camping At Wildwood Preserve

For one night only—camp overnight at Wildwood Preserve! Set-up camp and head out on a nature walk to explore the trails and look for bugs and listen for the singing insects that signify back to school.

Movie and Popcorn under the night sky. Join us for a free movie under the stars. Our feature movie will be ‘The Bee Movie’. Bring a blanket/chairs and enjoy an outdoor movie experience. Popcorn will be available for a small fee, provided by Volunteers In Parks. 

This campout is dog-friendly for friendly dogs. A campfire with s'mores will be provided. Bring your own camping equipment and any food you may want. 

Standard Campsite [Register]
Campsites will be ready and available starting at 6 p.m. Saturday evening and all tents need to be removed by 11 a.m. Sunday morning. Each campsite can accommodate six people per site. Each campsite is 15 x 15ft. Fee: $25 per site (bring your own equipment i.e. tent, sleeping bag etc.).
