Spring Break Glamping for Families

This is no ordinary “stay-cation.” Venture out with Metroparks Outdoor Skills Specialists for this exclusive indoor/outdoor experience. Each trip is packed with our favorite spots and our favorite activities—all for your private group. With exclusive access to some lesser known spots and a naturalist to show you the way, Metroparks memories are guaranteed.

 

 

SPRING BREAK FAMILY GLAMPING [SOLD OUT]
Oak Openings Preserve, Beach Ridge Area, Wheelhouse
Tuesday, March 30 at 5 p.m. to Wednesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. 

Head out on an exhilarating night hike in the majestic Oak Openings then come back to a relaxing evening stay at Beach Ridge Wheelhouse. When you wake up, drop the kids off at day camp*, or head out with an explorer bag full of activities you can do in any park with the whole family. 

All you need to bring is food and your personal items. We will bring everything else. 

What’s Included?

  • Private, naturalist-guided night hike
  • Exclusive glamping in Beach Ridge Wheelhouse
  • All associated glamping gear: sleeping bags, sleep pads, indoor hammocks, camp cots, furniture, etc.
  • Explorer bag with activities for the family
  • And much more!

Fee: $225 (non-members) or $215 (members) covers registration for up to 6 people. Fee includes private guided night hike, explorer activity bag, glamping equipment rentals, and facility reservations.

Spend your Spring Break with the Metroparks. We have indoor overnight accommodations available in March and April. If interested you can reserve online or by calling 419-407-9701, reservations and calls are taken on a first come first serve basis.
