Admission & Rentals
Admission
Admission is required for all guests to enter The Ribbon during winter ice skating season; Guests may use their own equipment or use rental equipment, which is provided for no extra fee.

Children (3 and under).............FREE
*Children (ages 4-12)..............$8.00
*Seniors (65+).......................$8.00
*Group Rate (Groups of 15+)...$8.00/each
*Metroparks Members.............$8.00
**Wednesday Family Skate .....$6.00
*Discounted admission rates for Members, Children, Seniors, Group Outings and Wednesday Family Skates do not apply to Special Holiday Hours, with the exception of Monday, January 15 (MLK, Jr. Day) and Monday, February 19 (Presidents’ Day).
**Wednesday Family Skate sessions are on non holiday dates only – Wednesday Family Skates sessions will not be offered on November 22, December 20, December 27, and January 3.
We will offer hockey skates (sizes Youth 10 through Adult 13) and figure skates (sizes Youth 8 through Adult 13). We recommend using 1 size down for Men and 2 sizes down for Women.

Group Rentals at Cabana Village

$150 - Includes admission and skate rentals for up to 10 people. Plan ahead by ordering food and beverage in advance from The Garden by Poco Piatti HERE. The Garden offers a family friendly menu of pizzas, wraps, bowls, desserts and offers full bar service. There is NO outside food or beverage permitted at Cabana Village or Market Hall. Private Rentals
*Private rentals are only available during non-public skate hours
$500/2 hours - Includes skating and rentals for up to 50 people
$8/each per person above 50
To request a private rental of The Ribbon, please fill out the Special Event request form and select “Private Ice Skating Ribbon or Roller Skating Ribbon Event” with details about your event.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
- If reservation is canceled 30 days in advance, a full refund will be issued
- If reservation is canceled 15-30 days in advance, a 50% refund will be issued
- If reservation is canceled less than 15 days in advance, refunds are not offered. Ticket holders will have the option to exchange tickets to a future date based on availability.
- Guests may reschedule their reservation to another date & time up to 2 days before their scheduled session time, based on availability.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?
We will make every attempt to have The Ribbon open every day. In the case of a heavy snowstorm or heavy rain, we may have to have a delayed open or need to close The Ribbon if conditions are unsafe. In the case of delays or closures we will notify all guests at least one hour prior to your scheduled skating session if that session has been cancelled. If your session is cancelled you can reschedule your reservation for future date based on availability.
