NOTICE TO BIDDERS
ONLINE PROPOSALS for Metroparks Toledo - 1030 Water Street Improvements Project, Toledo, Ohio 43604, Lucas County will be received until Friday, July 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened / shared through the PlanetBids website.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of construction of 11 & 66 space parking lots; concrete walks; multi-use path; drainage and erosion control; electric, gas & water utilities including fire department connections; lighting; landscaping & irrigation; site amenities; and other related work. In accordance with R.C. 307.87 this notice is available on, and Bidders may obtain contract documents/ additional information at, www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link.
Bidders not registered on the PlanetBids Metroparks Toledo Vendor Portal must first create a free Vendor Profile by clicking New Vendor Registration. For additional guidance regarding electronic bidding, bidders can click the Help Center (Headset icon in the upper right of the Vendor Portal) to review the frequently asked questions, get the PlanetBids contact information, or open a support ticket with PlanetBids.
SUBMISSION: Bids for this Project will be accepted via e-bid only through the Metroparks' PlanetBids portal. Each bidder shall be responsible for submitting its electronic bid before the bid deadline. All paper bids will be rejected unless, in its sole discretion, the Metroparks determines good causes exists to accept the paper bid, and the bid is submitted before the bid deadline.
EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH a bid guaranty either in the form of (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF THE TOLEDO AREA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding.
