NOTICE TO FIRMS

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ) for “Toledo Botanical Gardens Cochrane Memorial Sculpture” will be received until Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM Local Time at which time all SOQ proposals must be received via email to Jessica.Hyde@metroparkstoledo.com. Qualification statements received after the specified due date and time will not be considered.

THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of the design and fabrication of a sculpture, including associated structural engineering, and the oversite of its installation. Offerors may obtain the Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) document and additional information by visiting www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link.

THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF THE TOLEDO AREA reserves the right to waive any defect or technicality in any SOQ received or to eliminate any firm that submits an incomplete or inadequate SOQ or that is not responsive to the requirements of this RFQ.

NOTICE TO FIRMS

STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS for “Toledo Botanical Gardens Event Venue, 5434 W. Bancroft, Toledo, Ohio, 43615” will be received until Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened / shared through the PlanetBids website. Qualification statements received after the specified due date and time will not be considered.

THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of the design of an indoor/outdoor, three-season event venue with a capacity for 250 to 300 seated guests and a total footprint of approximately 9,000 to 11,000 square feet. The design should allow for phased construction. The first phase will include a patio with permanent tent tie-downs, an adjacent restroom building, and utilities to support the full Project build-out. The second phase will include the construction of a permanent shelter with a full kitchen and storage, plus additional site/landscape amenities.
