NOTICE TO BIDDERS
ONLINE PROPOSALS for Metroparks Toledo – Howard Marsh Cells 3 and 4 Dike Repair, Curtice, OH 43412, Lucas County will be received until Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m, local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened / shared through the PlanetBids website.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of approximately 1,600 linear feet of dike repair of sloughed or mammal-damaged embankment. The work will include excavation, filter fabric placement, rip-rap and coarse aggregate placement, fine grading, temporary sediment and erosion control at the time of construction, and site restoration, seeding and mulching. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, skilled supervision, materials and equipment to complete the project per plans, specifications and contract documents.
In accordance with R.C. 307.87 this notice is available online, and Bidders may obtain contract documents/ additional information at, www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link.
SUBMISSION: Bids for this Project will be accepted via e-bid only through the Metroparks' PlanetBids portal. Each bidder shall be responsible for submitting its electronic bid before the bid deadline.
EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH a bid guaranty either in the form of (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF THE TOLEDO AREA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding.

THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of strategic analysis, planning, and system design; documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with professional standards; help desk services and support management; preventative maintenance and performance tuning; continuous network and device monitoring; on-site and remote technical assistance; 24/7 break/fix repair services for hardware and software; execution of daily administrative IT functions; configuration updates and change management; hardware and software upgrades; cybersecurity assessments, including penetration testing; management of inventory; IT oversight and support coordination; and development of a long-term technology plan.
