STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ’s) for “Metroparks Toledo District Wide Facility Condition Assessment” will be received until Friday, June 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM Local Time at which time all RFQ submittals must be received via digital upload to the PlanetBids website.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of a District Wide Facility Condition Assessment to identify major building systems and components, determine approximate remaining useful service life, and develop budgetary cost estimates for replacing those systems and components. Firms may obtain the RFQ document and additional information by visiting www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link.
SUBMISSION: SOQs for this Project will be accepted only through the Metroparks' PlanetBids portal. Each firm shall be responsible for submitting its electronic SOQ before the RFQ deadline.
THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF THE TOLEDO AREA reserves the right to waive any defect or technicality in any SOQ received or to eliminate any firm that submits an incomplete or inadequate SOQ or that is not responsive to the requirements of this RFQ.

QUALIFICATION STATEMENTS titled “Glass City Riverwalk - Vistula RAISE – Construction Manager at Risk Services” will be received electronically via Metroparks Toledo’s PlanetBids portal until: 12:00 PM Local Time on Thursday, July 02, 2026. Qualification Statements received after the specified due date and time will not be considered. The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area, a.k.a., Metroparks Toledo ("Owner") is seeking qualifications statements from Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) prequalified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for construction of Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant funded portions of the Glass City Riverwalk, Vistula Neighborhood Project within the City of Toledo (the "Project"). In general, The CMAR shall work cooperatively with the design team and any other consultants for the Project that may be retained by the Owner and provide, among other services, cost estimating, budgeting, value engineering, constructability review, scheduling and planning – ultimately arriving at an agreed-to guaranteed maximum price and constructing the Project. The construction budget for the Project has been set at approximately twenty-four (24) million dollars. Submission of the RFQ packets for the Qualification Statement requirements for this Project will be accepted via electronic submittal only through Metroparks' PlanetBids portal. Each firm shall be responsible for submitting its electronic documents before the submittal deadline. The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area will directly select the top three firms based on the Qualification Statements; those top three firms will subsequently be asked to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP).

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
ONLINE PROPOSALS for Metroparks Toledo – Howard Marsh Cells 3 and 4 Dike Repair, Curtice, OH 43412, Lucas County will be received until Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m, local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened / shared through the PlanetBids website.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of approximately 1,600 linear feet of dike repair of sloughed or mammal-damaged embankment. The work will include excavation, filter fabric placement, rip-rap and coarse aggregate placement, fine grading, temporary sediment and erosion control at the time of construction, and site restoration, seeding and mulching. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, skilled supervision, materials and equipment to complete the project per plans, specifications and contract documents.
In accordance with R.C. 307.87 this notice is available online, and Bidders may obtain contract documents/ additional information at, www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link.
SUBMISSION: Bids for this Project will be accepted via e-bid only through the Metroparks' PlanetBids portal. Each bidder shall be responsible for submitting its electronic bid before the bid deadline.
EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH a bid guaranty either in the form of (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF THE TOLEDO AREA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding.
