Canal Boat Makes a Splash
How does "The Volunteer" canal boat get from its winter storage barn to its dock at Kimble's Landing on the Miami & Erie Canal? Rail leads from the barn, across the park road into a lagoon, where it then floats to the canal. This video, by Toledo Aerial Media, was made April 21 when the boat was launched in preparation for the start of a new season.
