These are no ordinary “stay-cation.” Venture out with Metroparks Outdoor Skills Specialists for this exclusive indoor/outdoor experience. Each trip is packed with our favorite spots and our favorite activities—all for your private group. With exclusive access to some lesser known spots and a naturalist to show you the way, Metroparks memories are guaranteed.


 

Secor Valentine’s Glamping, Dinner and Canvas Painting

Saturday, February 12, 5 p.m. to Sunday, February 13, 10 a.m. [Register]
Fee includes private painting instruction, canvases, glamping equipment rentals, facility reservations, dinner, and continental breakfast*.

Treat yourselves to a unique Valentine’s Day experience with Metroparks Toledo. Our outdoor cooking experts will satisfy you with four delicious courses before you celebrate the whimsy of winter with a guided wine and painting class. Step-by-step instruction is provided so you can sit back and let your creativity flow. No experience is necessary to create a winter-themed work of art. Once you have created your work of art, nestle in for a calm evening in the Secor Center.

All you need to bring are your personal items. We will bring everything else.

This Experience Includes:

  • Private painting instruction with everything included—canvas, paint, wine, etc.
  • Private four course meal. Please notify your host of any food allergies or dietary preferences. Menu adjustments can be made*.
    • Fresh lettuce mix with feta, walnuts and vinaigrette
    • Crispy sourdough bread with garlic, herb butter
    • Creamy lemon chicken served over wild rice (vegetarian option available.)
    • Decadent black forest cake

Fee includes naturalist led night hike, glamping equipment rentals, facility reservations, dinner, and continental breakfast*.

Treat yourselves to a relaxing night at Oak Openings Preserve Metropark. Our outdoor cooking experts will satisfy you with four delicious courses. Then head out on an exhilarating guided night hike in the serene winter woods before nestling in for the night at the cozy Oak Openings Lodge.

Experience Side Cut like never before! Enjoy a yummy pizza dinner, then head out on an exhilarating guided night hike along the Maumee River before nestling in for the night at the cozy Lamb Center.

All you need to bring is a reusable water bottle and your personal items. We will bring everything else.
