Ever dream of going on a bike trip but not sure how or where to start? Here is your opportunity to camp out and explore different Metroparks in a whole new way on an overnight bicycle adventure with an experienced guide.
Come to an orientation/planning workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. this Sunday in the Nature Photography Center at Secor Metropark to learn more about the trip, which will start one week later, Saturday, October 1.
The bike trip, which will also begin at Secor, will travel 38.5 miles and end the next day at the same location, just in time for lunch. The trip will consist of 19 miles the first day and 20 miles the second day. All cyclist and camping levels are welcome to this beginner's cycling trip program.
Registration is just $30 and includes: One tent spot at a group campsite, some bike and camping gear and a guide. Food is not included.
The pre-trip is highly recommended for anyone planning to participate in the overnight trip.
