Located at 8801 S. River Road, Waterville, OH 43566 at Farnsworth Metropark, we’re partnering with Maumee River Kayak Rentals to bring you paddling fun in 2025. Schedule your reservation in advance or stop by our staffed kayak concession every Saturday during the season.

Call 419-376-1651 in advance to schedule your paddling experience at the Mercy FitPark Paddle location at Farnsworth Metropark or one of the other launch sites offered by Maumee River Kayak Rentals. Flexible reservations are open daily, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., so you paddle when it works for you.

Kayak Concession Open Hours

From May 24 to August 30, our Farnsworth concession is staffed every Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., for walk-up rentals (weather and river levels permitting).

Rental Rates

Kayaks start at $29 per person for up to 4 hours – affordable river fun awaits!

Know-Before-You-Go 

• Kayak Rentals will close when the river levels are too high, or too low.
• Transportation (drop off or pick up) services are not offered. 
• Paddles and lifejackets are provided with all rentals.
• Credit Card and ID required on file for all rentals.
• All renters must sign a waiver in advance.
• Kayaks are only rented to adults 18 and older.
• No coolers will be permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• You must be 12 and older for a single kayak and be with an adult.
• Tandem kayaks must have one adult 18 and up – children ages 9-12 may kayak on a tandem with an adult (18+).
• Kayak Sizes/Weight Capacities Offered:
  • Single Kayak 11-1/2 foot in length and have a weight capacity of 350 lbs.
  • Single Kayak 9-1/2 foot in length and have a weight capacity of 300 lbs.
  • Tandem Kayaks have a weight capacity of 500 lbs.
