    Monday through Sunday (9 a.m. to Dark)

Resident, Member & Community Rates

*Only one special rate may be applied per rental. When multiple rates apply, the lowest eligible rate will be used. See hours of availability above. 

  • Lucas County Resident – 10% off - $104
  • Metroparks Member – 20% off, up to $100 - $92
  • Non-Profit Group Rental – 50% off, Monday – Friday - $60

Park—Pearson Metropark

Park Entrance Address: 4989 Seaman Road, Oregon Ohio 43616. This shelter is located on the north side of the park, near the Johlin Cabin.

Getting to the Facility: Parking: Parking lot is less than 100 yards from the shelter. Parking is not guaranteed for any event. There are 25 regular and 2 handicap parking spaces.

Hours: 9 a.m. to dark.

Features and Amenities—Homestead Shelter

Tables and Chairs: There are six picnic tables. Picnic tables are 6 feet–2 inches.

Alcohol: Alcohol is not permitted at this shelter or in any Metropark.

Playground: No

Electrical Outlets: There are four outlets in the main room and three in the kitchen.

Grill(s): There are no grills.

Kitchen Facilities: This facility has a sink, microwave and refrigerator/freezer.

Restrooms: There are restrooms attached to the building.

Shelter Style: Open shelter with retractable wall panels.
