Swan Creek Playground - Airport Hwy
Designed to replicate the park's namesake feature, the playground at Swan Creek's Airport Highway Area winds through the trees and grass field creating large oxbows or bends. In nature these oxbows are unique features that are home to salamanders, frogs, and special plant populations. We have used them to hold fun and challenging play features. The play structures at this area are composed of inter-connected nets rather than traditional platforms. This creates a new play experience that can't be found anywhere else in our region.

Features and Amenities—Swan Creek Playground - Airport Highway
Playground: There is a net climber with a slide for ages 2 to 5. A net climber with slide, ladders and elevator for children ages 5 to 12. There is a swing set with two (2) belt swings, one (1) enclosed tot swing and one (1) handicap safety swing. There is also a merry-go-round, witches wheel, rocker platform and double hill slide with climbing net. The playground surface has bonded rubber mulch and bark mulch.
Restrooms: The restroom is 240 feet from the playground.

Additional Information: The playground has a large picnic area with charcoal grills, picnic tables and drinking fountains nearby.
