The Electric Avoline Company had more than one plant In Toledo. One is on Champlain St and Elm St and is now abandoned. They made auto parts. In 1934, the Toledo auto-lite strike became the “Battle of Toledo.” Two people were killed and 200 injured. This was an important historic strike for the labor unions of our nation.
