Years ago I was looking through some items that my parents saved from their early years. To my surprise I found their high school identification cards from 1950. Interestingly, they went to separate high schools, Libbey and DeVilbiss, but both kept them all these years. Unbelievably both cards were still in remarkable good condition. In 1950, cards were not laminated, but they include impressive black and white photos printed directly onto the paper. They represent a moment in time when my parents were teens. A fun window into the past for me.
