This protractor was taken from my grandpa’s collection of tools, many of which were used to handmake specialized parts for Libbey Glass where he worked for 30 years as a tool and die maker. I always admired the things in my grandpa’s garage workshop and the way he organized and cared for his tools, so after he died I kept a few things to remember him by. My grandpa, John P. Akens, passed away on February 21, 2022.
