Upcycling Activity: Phenology Wheel

Phenology is the study of the seasons and cycles of nature and how plant and animal life react to it. When we look out the window in December, does it look the same as it did in June?

What colors do we see in May, and how different are they from those we see in October? By noticing these differences, we can all become a little more aware and appreciative of our natural surroundings. Using items found around the house, you can start a year-long activity that will encourage creativity, observation skills, and appreciation for the natural world.
