Liberty Cabin Platform
The brand new Otsego Road Cabin Platforms are conveniently located just off of the Towpath Trail at Bend View Metropark with elevated scenic views of the beautiful Maumee River. Reserve these new platforms for a unique camping experience and combine it with a hike or a paddling excursion on the Maumee River Water Trail. Reservations open to the public April 11 by calling 419-407-9700.

Getting to the Facility: There is one (1) parking spot per platform. Approximately 1000 feet from the platform, no parking at the individual platform. A maximum of two (2) vehicles are permitted overnight. One (1) vehicle is permitted in the parking lot closest to the platform and another at the main gravel lot at the top of the hill.
Price: $60 a night for non-members and $48 a night for Metroparks Members. Please note: All overnight facilities have a 10% hotel tax plus 7.75% sales tax. Gaining access to the Facility: Renters will use the last 4 digits of their phone number to access a key from a key box on the facility during their stay.
Hours: Check-In 3 p.m. and Check-Out is 11 a.m., The platforms are available to rent from May 1 through October 15, conditions permitting. The area is susceptible to high water from the River and reservations may be cancelled at short notice due to flooding.
Capacity: Liberty can accommodate four (4) overnight inside the platform with an additional two (2) people in an 8 x 8 tent for a total of six (6) people. The deck of Liberty is 20 ft. x 8 ft.

Paper and Plastic Products: No paper or plastic products are provided.
Alcohol: Alcohol is permitted inside the facility only and in the area adjacent to the enclosed platform.
Playground: There is no playground.
Internet: There is no internet or wifi.
Electrical Outlets: There is no electricity.
Grill(s): There is no grill.
Kitchen Facilities: There are no kitchen facilities.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the facility and within 25 feet of the facility entrance.
Heat and Air Conditioning: There is no heat or air conditioning.
Restrooms: There is a porta-potty approximately 1000 feet from the facility.
Additional Information: There is a firepit located at the platform. There are two camp cots in the facility and three (3) Adirondack chairs on the deck. Pets are not permitted. There are two Platforms: Liberty and Freedom. Liberty's platform can accommodate a small two (2) person tent.
