Middlegrounds 10th Anniversary Programs
The three programs below are in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Middlegrounds. The following programs are supported by Mosser Construction and Foundation Steel.
Glass City to Middlegrounds Bridge Walk
Glass City, Market Hall
September 7, Noon to 2:30 p.m.
Reservations Required, FREE
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Middlegrounds Metropark and hike along the mighty Maumee River that made this city what it is today. This walk will include going over both the MLK Bridge on Cherry Street and the high-level Anthony Wayne Bridge. The focus of these hikes will be exercise, but we'll make occasional nature stops. This program runs rain or shine, dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle filled with water.
Nature Walk
Middlegrounds, Rotary Pavilion
September 14, Noon to 1 p.m.
Reservations Required, Fee: $5
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Middlegrounds Metropark with a nature walk at this reclaimed riverfront property. Marvel at what has become of this city oasis in Downtown Toledo. This program runs rain or shine, dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle filled with water.
