Expand your skills with classes, or enjoy unique paddling opportunities in your Metroparks with history paddles, evening and sunset paddles, and river paddles available at many of our river parks. All boats, lifejackets, paddles, and paddling safety gear are provided on all paddles. Adaptive paddling gear is available by request at any paddle.
Type 3 personal floatation devices are available in both "ski vest" style and a paddling-specific style. Personal floatation devices are available in a range of sizes from child through adult oversize, and accommodate chest sizes from 20-60 inches. Inflatable personal floatation devices are available for stand up paddleboard yoga classes. A type 1 personal floatation device is available for adaptive purposes, which will turn a paddler from face down in the water to face up with no effort on the paddler's part.
