Snowshoes for Adults

When the snow falls your Metroparks transform into a winter wonderland. Explore the parks by snowshoe through guided hikes, snowshoe rentals, and special events. Adult and kids sizes available. Adult snowshoes are available in a variety of sizes and fastening styles. Snowshoes are adjustable to fit a range of shoe sizes. Wear your own snow boots or hiking boots, and the snowshoes fit over top. Our snowshoes may not fit bulky boots in large shoe sizes. Manufacturer's recommended maximum weight is 250 lbs. Hikers above that weight can still safely use the snowshoes, however, their effectiveness at keeping you on top of the snow may be lessened.

Equipment only available at Metroparks Snowshoe Rental Programs and covered by the program fee.
