Oak Openings Ski Trails
A 3.2-mile cross country ski trail originates at Evergreen Lake. This seasonal trail is marked and maintained as a ski trail during the winter months. The trail head, located at Evergreen Lake, provides a stretching station and trail map for users. The ski trail is one-way and should be traversed in a counter-clockwise direction.
It is routed through areas thick with non-native pine stands, as well as some beautiful, hardwood forest areas. Watch for opossum, mink, deer, and rabbit tracks alongside this trail in the snow.
