Oak Openings Springbrook Lake Trail

Springbrook Lake Trail this loop trail offers views of wetlands, as well as forested areas. Look for swimming muskrats, basking painted turtles and green herons stalking their prey. Broad-winged hawks can often be heard calling nearby in the spring.  Stonework, completed by the WPA in the 1930’s, is still present at some locations along this trail.
