Side Cut Wood Duck Trail

The Wood Duck Trail is an adventure through floodplain woods of tall cottonwoods, basswoods and black locust ringing a shallow lagoon formed in a portion of the old Side Cut Canal bed. Look for frogs, turtles, kingfisher and black-crowned night herons. Screech owls nest in the cavities of the old cottonwoods and box elders.
