Public Comments Needed For Trail Projects
Trails connect parks and provide routes to explore nature. Pictured is a new extension of the Wabash Cannonball Trail through Side Cut. Metroparks is asking for the public’s help to prepare grant requests for two other upcoming trail projects.
Your Feedback Needed
Metroparks is applying for two state grants for trail improvements, and you can help by taking two very short surveys. Your replies will be helpful for Metroparks to demonstrate public feedback about each of the projects.
BLUE CREEK TRAIL
A perimeter trail at Blue Creek Metropark in Whitehouse. The trail would provide a bike and pedestrian connection from the historic downtown area on the northern edge of the property to the historic farm at the southern edge of the property. In future phases, the trail would be extended to create a loop around the former Nona France Quarry.
