Toledo Botanical Garden has joined forces with the Blue Creek seed nursery to expand the number of species Metroparks can propagate and harvest. Last weekend, Sanja Jennings lead a group of volunteers to plant 710 Oak Openings native genotype blue flag iris plants. The propagation bed will be used to generate material for restoration projects in wet areas across the Oak Openings Region.
