Mini Maumee Discovery Play

The Mini-Maumee Discovery Play Area is where learning meets play, where excitement meets education. Thanks to the generous support of Dana Incorporated, the Mini Maumee brings you a one-of-a-kind water play experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the magic of this scaled ‘map’ of our Maumee River and its tributaries. Splash, slide, and navigate your way through the miniaturized waterways, discovering the wonders of this vital ecosystem.

🔹 Hours of Operation
The Mini-Maumee and other water play features are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

*Water features may be shut off temporarily for maintenance issues, water quality issues, air temperatures below 70 degrees and other inclement weather.

🔹 Nearby Amenities
Restrooms, Changing Rooms, and Storage Lockers are available inside the Market Hall building near The Ribbon.

*Storage lockers are $0.25 each and require a quarter. There is a change machine located near the locker area.

Try the 32-foot Mercy Health FitPark Climb rock wall every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from May 23 – August 30.
