Alissa Caple
Outdoor Skills Interpreter

Alissa started working at Metroparks in the fall of 2016 and loves to connect people to nature through fun outdoor experiences. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a specialization in conservation and ecology from BGSU! She especially enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking and learning to identify native plants.

Emily Uhlman
Land Steward

Emily started with the Metroparks in spring of 2019 and is one of the land stewards. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in plant biology focusing on field ecology. She loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, gardening, playing catch, or listening to live music.

Meredith Busic
Volunteer Engagement Specialist

Meredith has been with the parks for seven years and is one of the three members of Metropark Volunteer Service Department. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a focus on ecology and restoration as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She is an enthusiastic gardener and spends as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors.
