Gift Ribbon Program at Glass City Metropark
Metroparks Toledo in partnership with the Metroparks Toledo Foundation is committed to making sure everyone in our community has the opportunity to enjoy The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark.
That's why we're excited to announce our new Gift Ribbon Program in partnership with Metroparks Toledo Foundation and Signature Bank. This program is designed to help remove barriers and provide every Lucas County resident full access to this popular park attraction, regardless of personal circumstances.
How it works:
The Gift Ribbon Program is a powerful community initiative where every patron of The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark will be a change maker. A percentage of all skating proceeds will go into a fund to cover the cost of rental equipment for children and families who may not otherwise be able to participate. The program will utilize these funds to provide skating opportunities to community groups, school programs and non-profit partners and will provide a series of low-cost or no-cost programs and special events.
How can you request Gift Ribbon skate passes?
If your family, group or organization is interested in applying for skate passes through our Gift Ribbon Program, please apply below.
After you’ve received your Gift Ribbon Skating Pass, here’s how to use it:
READY TO VISIT? For winter ice skating season, make your reservation online at www.metroparkstoledo.com/theribbon using your personal promo code, given to you when you receive your pass. For summer roller season, you can simply show your pass at the counter at Market Hall to pick up your rental equipment.
Each Gift Ribbon Skating Pass is good for up to 4 passes and equipment rentals. Additional accommodations can be made for larger groups.
How can you help?
There are a number of ways you can help support the Gift Ribbon Program.
You can:
- Skate at The Ribbon! A percentage of proceeds from admissions and equipment rental for summer and winter activities will go directly into the Gift Ribbon fund.
- Make a donation to the Metroparks Toledo Foundation and select “Gift Ribbon” to designate your gift to the program.
- Spread the word about the program to your friends and family!
